Just raced my first race in the Hybrid Rage. I race Late Models at Evergreen Speedway where everyone else uses the Hans device. This is the first year that Nascar has written the Hybrid into their rule book as a certified device. I have used the Simpson D Cell up to now. I found the Rage to be an easier device to get on than the D Cell but provides the same amount of side to side motion and is very comfortable to wear. Other people at the track have complained about the entry and exit using the Hans device (rear support area gets caught) especially when it needs to quickly done . . . no problem with the Rage. With the additional side impact protection I feel safer also. The package includes everything you need to install it including helmet hardware, tethers, and custom pad for the racing seat. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for the "Best" protection at a reasonable price.
